Toni McCray has been involved in racing her entire life. Being the daughter of Rick McCray, she is no stranger to the race track. She was exposed to races such as the Nascar Camping World West, the Southwest Tour and the Sprint Cup Series from an early age. Toni began her racing career by racing karts at the Glen Helen Raceway Park. Racing did not intimate her in the least. She won the first race she entered beating an all-male list of competitors. She continued a winning streak throughout the next two years at Glen Helen. At fifteen, Toni began racing stock cars at the Orange Show Speedway. Her first day out at the track, she turned one of the fastest times of the day. Toni continued to grow her racing skills throughout the next few years.

In 1998, Toni started running her father's NASCAR Craftsman Truck team. When he sold the team in 2000, Toni continued working for NASCAR in the field of marketing and public relations. She stayed close to the driver’s seat though racing every chance she had. In 2006, Toni received an opportunity to work for Evernham Motorsports as the Marketing and Public Relations director for Erin Crocker. That summer she competed in the RACEceivers Legend Car Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway's Summer Shootout for Clay Hair Motorsports.

In March of 2007 Toni began helping her father run the McCray Motorsports organization. At this time, she began racing a Super Late Model at the Orange Show Speedway for McCray Motorsports. She had three top-10 finishes and two top -5 finishes. She won the fifth race she participated in for McCray Motorsports. In 2008, Toni competed at Toyota Speedway of Irwindale in the NASCAR Whelen Super Late Model Series for McCray Motorsports. Toni had six top-10 finishes. A great start for a very talented and dedicated young woman. She impressed many and has garnered the attention of several team owners.

You will always see number 08, Toni McCray in the winners circle! She not only understands what it takes to win, she knows the business of racing. She is a natural leader that possesses a fan friendly personality. She has a willingness to interact with her fans as a positive role model for the youth of the NASCAR nation. Additionally, she is a media target, being a young talented female driver who has the ability to leave the leading male racers in the dust!
